Dennis M. Kirschbaum
Dennis M. Kirschbaum is a writer, poet, and nonprofit management consultant. From 2001-2014, Kirschbaum served as a vice president at Hillel International in Washington, D.C. and from 2015-2020 as Executive Director of Hillel at the University of Rochester. Previously, he was Executive Director of the Public Risk Management Association.
He earned a B.A. in English Literature from Guilford College and a M.A. in Jewish Studies from Baltimore Hebrew University.
He has traveled extensively in Israel, India, Thailand, Morocco, and Egypt and he is an Adirondack 46er having hiked to the summit of the highest peaks in New York state. His poetry chapbook Clattering East, is published by Finishing Line Press. He lives and works in Montgomery County, Md.
